Ingredients
- 2 oz bourbon
- 3⁄4 oz lemon juice
- 3⁄4 oz [1:1 simple syrup](/recipes/simple-syrup)
- optional: orange bitters (or any bitters)
- optional: 1 egg white, dry shake first if using
Garnish
- citrus wheel
- Luxardo/Maraschino cherry
Method
- Combine bourbon, lemon juice, syrup, and ice in a cocktail shaker
- Shake until the outside is cold (~20-30 seconds)
- Strain into a old fashioned or rocks glass
- Garnish
